Our Mission
Our purpose is to help artists grow and create new works, while staying true to the humanity that we all share on this tiny spec of a planet we all call home. In this vast galaxy, we want to guide the new generation of artists in joining the ranks of stars from around the world. Let's create the next generation of broadway musicals and plays. Let's explore new projects with the next generation of performers. And let's bring together the next dream teams of creatives that will spearhead all of these projects. That's our goal. And together we can do it!

Join us at the Lake Wales Arts Council's Summer Seminar: Let's Talk About Art.
In a celebration of the arts and what they can do for our young people, join Tommie Wofford, the presidential scholar as he talks about how the theater changed his life. Teaching at the Arts Council's Summer Camp this year, he's joined on the stage by fellow teaching artist David E Williams, another Lake Wales native and long time friend. Also featured are Jamiel T Burkhart and Kristen Amanda Smith, who make several appearances throughout the event as they share their experience of how the arts changed their lives and how they bring their expertise to the Arts Council's Summer Camp.
The event will be held at the Updike Hall at the Lake Wales Arts Center on July 23rd, 2023 at 4pm.

Join us at Theatre Winter Haven for an amazing night of music!
Featuring New York City theatre artists Jamiel T Burkhart and Kristen Amanda Smith, alongside Broadway Star of the Future Winner and Jimmy Award finalist, Janiyah McAllister, this one night only concert engagement will include musical theatre tunes and pop songs you know and love. Hosted by Theater Winter Haven's own Tommie Wofford, this is a night of entertainment you do not want to miss! Featuring songs from Shrek, Hamilton, and Spring Awakening. Tickets are on sale now.
The concert will be held at the Theatre Winter Haven Ghost Light Lounge on July 30th, 2023 at 6pm.
